Our Lady of Assumption Parish

Our Lady of Assumption Parish

Our Lady of Assumption officially became a parish in 1952. The Blessed Sacrament Chapel displays a beautiful Christi Moreno, a gift from Bishop Metzger in 1953. It was carved from Quebracho wood, found in Argentina, and created by famed sculptor Urbici Soler who worked on Christ the King, a monumental statue of Jesus on Mt. Cristo Rey. This fund helps support the life and programs of the parish.
