The Grants Development Office of the Catholic Foundation was created to assist diocesan organizations in securing external resources to support their missions. Grant development is vital to funding diocesan ministries, schools, and parishes for various programs and projects. Grants are awarded directly to designated parishes, schools, and ministries.

In 2023, 51 grant applications were submitted totaling $1,381,527. 40 were awarded in the amount of $1,089,727 and one for $5,000 is still pending. A total of 10 applications were denied. Grant revenue is given directly to the designated parish, school, and/or ministry and is not reflected as income on the Catholic Foundation’s financial statements.
