Alamo Movie Night to Benefit the Permanent Diaconate Fund
Alamo Movie Night to Benefit the Permanent Diaconate Fund

Join the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso for an exciting advanced screening of the powerful movie CABRINI on four screens at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema East Tuesday, February 20, from 6-9 pm. Tickets are $20 per person, and each guest will receive one raffle ticket and a chance to win fun prizes. Brought to you by Opening Sponsor - Machelle Vanecek and Independent Film Sponsors ClearView Realty and RMPersonnel. 100% of the proceeds benefit the Permanent Diaconate Fund.

Deacon Danny Bejarano, Deacon Jim Szostek, Deacon Jesus Cardenas, and Deacon Chato Gonzalez will provide introductions to the film and will join us in each theater to introduce themselves and the importance of funding additional permanent deacons.

There are only 554 tickets available for this incredible opportunity, and seating is first-come, first-served. Tickets can be purchased online from the Catholic Foundation Website and picked up at the designated parish office or the Catholic Foundation. Please plan to arrive at the theater by 6 pm. If you prefer to see the film in Spanish, there will be a Spanish screening with Deacon Jesús Cardenas.

The Permanent Diaconate Fund supports the Diocese of El Paso for the continuing spiritual and academic formation of permanent deacons. Our much-needed Deacons participate actively in the liturgy as they baptize, witness marriages, preach, expose the Blessed Sacrament, and assist priests in the celebration of the Sacrifice of the Mass and are an integral part of the parish.
