As a separate legal entity from the Diocese of El Paso, the Catholic Foundation is not affected by the recent reorganization of the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso. We remain committed to our core purpose of raising funds necessary to sustain the parishes, schools, ministries, and charities that continue the teachings of Jesus Christ in our Diocese. All monies raised through the Catholic Foundation are only used for the parishes, programs, services, and ministries for which they are designated. No gifts are used to satisfy legal fees or settlement costs associated with the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso’s reorganization.

Now more than ever, we are counting on the community to help us fulfill that mission. Our hearts and prayers remain with the victims and their families.

As we journey closer to the sacred season of gratitude and reflection, the Catholic Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to each of you who have contributed to the 2025 Progress Annual Ministry Appeal. Because of your prayers, faith, and sacrificial generosity, we have reached 89% of our $1.9 million goal, with $1,701,178 in pledges.

This remarkable milestone is more than a financial achievement—it is a reflection of faith in action. Each contribution, no matter the size, represents a heart responding to God’s call to serve, love, and share in the mission of the Church. Through your gifts, our ministries continue to bring the light of Christ to others across our diocese and beyond.

True stewardship is not simply about meeting a goal; it is a spiritual act of worship—an offering of gratitude to the One who gives us everything. When we give from the heart, we mirror the love of Christ, who gave Himself completely for our salvation.

The early Christians “shared everything they had” (Acts 4:32), united by the belief that all they possessed was a gift from God to be used for the good of others. Today, we carry on that same apostolic spirit through our support of ministries that serve families, youth, the elderly, the poor, and the most vulnerable among us.

Your generosity sustains seminarian formation, religious education, pastoral outreach, and countless programs that embody Christ’s compassion in our communities. Every act of giving becomes a prayer—a visible sign of our faith and trust in God’s providence.

As we approach the close of the year, we are reminded of the saints, apostles, and faithful witnesses who gave not out of abundance, but out of deep love and devotion. Their sacrifices built the foundation of the Church we cherish today.
