Catholic Foundation Announces a Stewardship Program

The Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso is pleased to announce a Stewardship program, a ministry that will assist parishes to promote the practice of Stewardship – returning a portion of one’s time, talent, and treasure back to God in gratitude for the gifts He has given us.

Meet Karina Sandoval
Stewardship Coordinator

Born in El Paso and raised in Ciudad Juárez, Karina graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising. Karina began with the diocese as the Reverence for Life Coordinator. In 2013, she was chosen for the Young Adult Lay Leadership Program of the Catholic Church Extension Society. Through this initiative, Karina worked in the Religious Formation Ministry, developing a post-Confirmation program for parishes in El Paso while completing her Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from Boston College’s School of Theology and Ministry.

Karina joined the Catholic Foundation team in July 2016 as the Coordinator of the Stewardship Office. She will work closely with churches to develop a vibrant Stewardship process for our diocese to more fully engage Catholics in the faith life of their parish communities.
