The Catholic Foundation is honored to welcome the 104th fund to the Catholic Legacy Fund.

The Saint Teresa of Calcutta Pro-Life Fund was created by an anonymous donor to help relieve the burdens of expectant parents and provide support for Pro-Life initiatives. They chose to name the fund after Mother Teresa because she devoted her life to recognizing the dignity in the poorest and most vulnerable people, often unborn children.

Annual distributions will go to Guiding Star El Paso. Guiding Star was established in 2002 as the House of Hope Pregnancy Resource Medical Center. The El Paso organization is the sixth affiliate in a growing national movement to expand pregnancy centers into comprehensive holistic women’s health centers by partnering with other life-affirming care providers under one roof. Guiding Star offers free care, support, and proactive education.

Your gifts to this fund will have a direct impact on the services Guiding Star El Paso provides. Endowed funds provide a vehicle for your outright or planned gifts, and will have a lasting impact. In time, the income generated by the gift will far exceed the original donation..

The Catholic Foundation hopes everyone in the community will participate in the spirit of charitable giving. There is no minimum requirement to contribute to an existing endowed fund. You can create a Named Fund with a gift of $10,000 or more. Gifts of any size are welcome and are essential to the Catholic Foundation’s mission.
