The Catholic Foundation raised $106,585 during the 14th Annual Foundation Event: Come and See with Bishop Robert Barron and Catholic singer songwriter Matt Maher through sponsorships, registrations, a live auction, and donations. KVIA ABC-7 Anchor Stephanie Valle did an outstanding job as Emcee and made it a night to remember. You can watch the whole event on the Foundation’s YouTube page.
Guests enjoyed a Virtual Happy Hour sponsored by Nora & Ernie Herrera with The Herrera Group and The Manor at Ten Eleven, a newly launched venue located at 1011 N. Mesa, an historic Trost design built by the Ainsa Family in 1910 and later occupied by Malcolm McGregor. Registrants and sponsors received hand delivered swag bags with goodies featuring face coverings from the Office of Religious Formation, margarita mix from So El Paso, and custom The Manor at Ten Eleven shot glasses, and the chance to win raffle prizes donated by Chick-fil-A Rojas, Dorsey’s Gift Shop, Wine Attitude, and a fall basket donated by a private donor.
Proceeds from the annual Foundation of Faith Event benefit the Foundation whose only purpose is to serve the Catholic community in the Diocese of El Paso. 100% of the proceeds from all needs packages—fuel for priests traveling to serve in West Texas and scholarship funds for students attending Most Holy Trinity Catholic School—benefit the designated need and school. Different needs are highlighted each year at the Foundation of Faith Event. It’s through the cooperative efforts of the churches, schools, parishioners, and diocesan ministries that the Foundation has flourished.
