As a separate legal entity from the Diocese of El Paso, the Catholic Foundation is not affected by the recent reorganization of the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso. We remain committed to our core purpose of raising funds necessary to sustain the parishes, schools, ministries, and charities that continue the teachings of Jesus Christ in our Diocese. All monies raised through the Catholic Foundation are only used for the parishes, programs, services, and ministries for which they are designated. No gifts are used to satisfy legal fees or settlement costs associated with the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso’s reorganization.

Now more than ever, we are counting on the community to help us fulfill that mission. Our hearts and prayers remain with the victims and their families.

He Is Risen… Now We Go Forth

I pray each of you are filled with the joy, hope, and renewal of this blessed Easter season, as we journey together from the Resurrection to Pentecost. In these sacred days, we are reminded that Easter is not just a moment to celebrate, but a season of transformation…a call to live as people of the Resurrection and to go forth, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to share the Good News.

Because He lives, we are invited to live differently.

Because He rose, we are called to rise in love, in service, and in faith.

Through the Progress Annual Ministry Appeal, we witness the Resurrection come alive in our diocese every single day. It is present in the ministries that serve our families, support our youth, accompany those in need, and bring hope to so many hearts.

When we give, we are not simply making a contribution—we are becoming the hands and feet of Christ. We are saying “yes” to His call. We are helping bring His light into the lives of others.

This Easter season, I invite you to reflect on how the Lord is calling you to go forth. If you have already made your gift—thank you so much. Your sacrificial generosity is truly making a difference and building His Kingdom here in our community.
