The 16th Annual Foundation of Faith Event is coming up! One of the highlights of the annual dinner is our exciting live auction when guests can bid on unique packages and donate to “Fund A Needs”.
Contributions benefit great causes the Catholic Foundation manages and supports, including the Father Matty Fund for Retired Priest Appreciation, St. Patrick Cathedral School, Diocesan Migrant & Refugee Services, Fuel for priests traveling across West Texas to serve, the St. Patrick Cathedral Historic Preservation Fund, and Bibles for children in religious formation programs at parishes in need.
We will once again welcome live auctioneer Victoria Pineda, Auctioneer Extraordinaire. Victoria has conducted close to 650 charity auctions in the last 18 years, helping raise $48** M** for various nonprofit organizations across the country.

Father Rick was the founding Executive Director of Diocesan Migrant and Refugee Services (DMRS). You can help build the permanent endowed fund to $1M and honor Father Matty’s legacy with a donation in any amount. DMRS is a full-service immigration legal aid clinic serving low-income immigrants and refugees. DMRS also provides vital legal representation to foreign born priests and religious workers who will serve in the Diocese of El Paso. If our newly ordained priests can’t get an R1 Visa, they can’t begin to work and serve parishioners. DMRS provides that service at a fraction of the cost.
100% of the proceeds from all Fund A Needs benefit the designated school, parish, charity, needs, or fund. Different causes are highlighted each year at the Foundation of Faith Event.
