As a separate legal entity from the Diocese of El Paso, the Catholic Foundation is not affected by the recent reorganization of the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso. We remain committed to our core purpose of raising funds necessary to sustain the parishes, schools, ministries, and charities that continue the teachings of Jesus Christ in our Diocese. All monies raised through the Catholic Foundation are only used for the parishes, programs, services, and ministries for which they are designated. No gifts are used to satisfy legal fees or settlement costs associated with the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso’s reorganization.

Now more than ever, we are counting on the community to help us fulfill that mission. Our hearts and prayers remain with the victims and their families.

Introducing Pray, Serve, Give: A Disciple’s Guide to Parish Stewardship

The Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso is excited to announce the official launch of our new stewardship resource, Pray, Serve, Give: A Disciple’s Guide to Parish Stewardship, a comprehensive manual designed to help parishes grow in faith, strengthen community, and deepen the understanding of stewardship as a way of life.

As part of this launch, we will begin with our clergy as part one of the initiative, introducing the manual at the Presbyteral Meeting this April and equipping pastors to lead stewardship efforts in their parishes.

Why Stewardship?

Stewardship is a path to parish renewal. When a parish shifts from maintenance to mission, it transforms every aspect of parish life. It invites parishioners to become active disciples, deepens prayer and participation, and strengthens community and belonging. Stewardship also fosters intentional generosity and helps develop lay leadership to support the Church’s mission.

The manual is available in both English and Spanish, ensuring all parishes can access these valuable resources.

We look forward to continuing this journey as we expand the rollout of Pray, Serve, Give: A Disciple’s Guide to Parish Stewardship across our Diocese.
