You’ve played a crucial role in the enduring history of the Catholic Foundation and we encourage you to participate in the storytelling and celebrations this year. We invite you to give a “Gift of 20” to your favorite endowed fund. You can leave a lasting legacy with a gift to a parish, school, ministry or charity fund, and create something special that will last forever.

In 2001, 122 seed donors contributed $177,000 to create a Catholic Foundation and an endowment for the future. The Catholic Foundation has grown to be a philanthropic leader that helps improve the lives of thousands of people and strengthen their faith in God.

The Catholic Legacy Fund, the Catholic Foundation’s endowment program, reached $20 million in 2020, just in time for our 20th anniversary. It’s time to celebrate!

Give a “Gift of 20” to your favorite endowed fund. There are four levels of giving to choose from: Saint (one-time gift of $20,000); Blessed ($1,000 for 20 months); Servant of God ($100 for 20 months); and Prayer Warrior ($200 gifts). Gifts go to permanent endowed funds that will provide support in perpetuity. Name your fund in honor or memory of a loved one, or your patron saint.

The Catholic Foundation’s first 20 Saints will receive special recognition in 2021. All of our Saints, Blessed, Servants of God, and Prayer Warriors will be announced during the 15th Annual Foundation of Faith Event: Ignite Your Hearts on September 23 and will be listed in the event program. The first 20 Saints will receive a write-up on the Catholic Foundation website and social media for 20 days in October, 2021, plus a feature in the Rio Grande Catholic. Deadline for Saints is August 27.
