A call from God to start a prayer group became a ministry and a mission for six special women. As they prepare to celebrate 10 years of gathering each Monday to pray, they take a pilgrimage to our local missions.

An anonymous donor established a Named Fund in memory of Fr. Rick Matty† with a gift of $10,000 in honor of his May 6 heavenly birthday. Fr. Matty was a beloved priest who came to El Paso in 1986. He passed away suddenly on July 16, 2012.

Brother Nick Gonzalez, FSC, Principal of Cathedral High School, is leaving El Paso to serve as the new Assistant to the Provincial of the District of San Francisco New Orleans. A farewell gathering is planned for Saturday, June 22 from 4-8pm.

Progress, the Catholic Ministry Appeal, provides operational funds for diocesan ministries and charities that reach out to those in need, inspire youth, minister to families, and help spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Office of Marriage and Family Life is one of those vital ministries.

The Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso is proud to introduce the nominees for the 2019 Steward of the Year Contest. The Steward of the Year is someone who actively demonstrates an exemplary life of prayer, service, and giving at their parish. The winner will be announced in July.

The Notre Dame Club of El Paso and St. Raphael Parish present the Hesburgh Lecture Series with Fr. Ron Nuzzi, Ph.D. The talk is free and open to the public. Food trucks and Fruitikis for sale on the Whitetop beginning at 5pm.

The Cathedral High School Alumni Association set out to raise $1 million for endowment to provide scholarships to deserving students and today they are 25% towards the goal and ready to cross the finish line with a little help from their Cate friends.
