Manny and Maureen de la Rosa are synonymous with Stewardship. The devoted couple were fully prepared to pay for law school for their fifth child, Mercedes, when something remarkable happened. Manny, Maureen and their daughter all say they felt God’s presence and guidance directing Mercy’s path.

The Office of Education serves 11 Catholic schools on nine campuses in the El Paso area—Cathedral High School, Father Yermo Schools, Loretto Acadmy, Most Holy Trinity Catholic School, St Joseph’s School, St. Matthew Catholic School, St. Patrick Cathedral School, St. Pius X Catholic School, and St. Raphael School—and is the central nervous system that connects Catholic educational institutions, administrators, teachers, staff, students, and parents to the Diocese of El Paso and to the larger community.

The ministry offers faith-based therapy services in the Diocese of El Paso that is open to everyone regardless of religion, gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.

The Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso invites the Catholic community to participate in the 3rd annual Steward of the Year Contest. The winner will receive special recognition at the 14th annual Foundation of Faith event and a dinner gift certificate for two. The winning parish will receive a cash prize of $1,000.

CPE (Clinical Pastoral Experience) follows the third year of study and is required for the M.Div. degree (Master of Divinity) at Mundelein Seminary where Angel is in formation.
